We cordially invite you to Sri Sri Radha Govinda Mandir on Wednesday February 25, 2009 for a special program of Kirtan and Hari-katha with His Holiness Indradyumna Swami. The program will begin promptly @ 7:00pm with Gaura-arati and will be followed by Maharaj’s lecture + kirtan, followed by prasadam.
His Holiness Indradyumna Swami is a disciple of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada[1] founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), a sannyasi traveling preacher, and a guru or spiritual teacher in the Chaitanya Vaisnava tradition. Each year Indradyumna Swami circles the globe teaching the message of the Bhagavad-gita and introducing people to kirtan chanting of the Hare Krishna maha mantra. His yearly activities culminate in coordinating the annual summer Festival of India tour on the Polish Baltic coast from June to September. He also leads an annual pilgrimage to Krishna’s holy land Vrindavan in North India during the sacred month of Kartika October/November. Indradyumna Swami shares his experiences and realizations as a traveling preacher in a journal called “The Diary of a Traveling Preacher”.
